| | Workout at Sugarhouse. My knees are giving me some trouble. Going to go get new shoes, we'll see if that helps. |
| | Run at Pipeline today. My knees still hurting a bit, and I felt a little bit sick throughout the run. |
| | I used the new shoes today and my knees felt much better. I did feel a bit sick though; I got a really awful headache after about a quarter mile. I think it's because I haven't been getting enough sleep or drinking enough water. |
| | Hot run today. The hills hurt my knees. |
| | Firemen at Liberty Today. Bill had me run with the more experienced group, which was really difficult for me because of my three-week hiatus from running before this week. I felt very, very out of shape and a little bit bad that I was slowing the group down. Still, a good run. |
| | Cemetary run. It took a really, really long time to get my knees to warm up. I felt like I had to waddle for about two miles before I could finally get my legs to move properly. |
| | Just ran by myself today, the team was in Idaho. It was a good run, but without the pressure of Coach or team there, it was at a painfully slow pace. |
| | Ran at the Jordan River Park today. It was hot and tough and not fun. |
| | Ran on that trail near the Hogle Zoo. Hills hurt my knees. |
| | Ran at Liberty park and did fartlek. I've started feeling a lot better on my runs than I have for a long, long time. I think it's because I've been able to get more sleep and have been less stressed now that the school year's over. |
| | Ran in California today. Very, very humid. |
| | Cemetary run. My knees and head and feet felt much, much better today than on any run I've had in the past few months. |
| | Ran at Pipeline today. I was really, really tired; I went to bed pretty late the night before. |
| | We started a bit earlier than normal because of the girls leaving for Camp this weekend. We ran from Sunnyside Park down to the track and did 8 grass Xs and 10 hills, which ended up being about 4 and 1/2 miles. Then we did grass loops and finished at Sunnyside. I felt pretty good. |
| | We ran at JCC today. I was expecting it to get extremely hot today, but it wasn't too bad. My legs got really tired in the last mile, but I was fine for most of the run. |
| | I forgot to set my alarm last night, so I didn't go to practice. Ran up emigration late tonight when it got a bit cooler. |

What bright young freshmen we have.
Cemetery loop. |

It's my birthday!
I'm really tired.

I'm very tired from yesterday. It was a fairly easy workout though, so that's all right. I'm a bit nervous for the race tomorrow, although should I turn in early I should be all right.

Murray 4th of July 5K (3.107 Miles) 00:24:59, Place in age division: 3 | | This was a disappointing time. I'm not sure what happened to my racing mentality, but it's been difficult to work up the grit that I need. |
| | Ran up City Creek and back from Liberty Park. I really like this run. |
| | I didn't run today. I did a 10 mile mountain bike ride, so I'm calling that good. This week left me a bit knackered. |

| | Fell asleep at the hospital and couldn't make it to practice. Connected two four mile loops from my house. |
| | Ran by myself again today |
